Well I took a chance and paid big $ to have a 3G set sent up to BC Canada in time for me to leave on a trip tomorrow. Three days USPS/FedEx and it was at my door at 11:00 am this morning.
 
Easy install, very cool outside mount unit in a nice bit of packaging. The performance is indeed better than the original I've used for 4 years. Even with ear plugs in, I actually had to turn down the bass a touch to balance the sound. With the volume cranked I can't hear the bike. Wow ! (I was very picky about speaker placement as well) Love the new gold conectors, too.
 
The wifes helmet is next. Thanks for the great (fast) service and a very nicely designed and put together product, Ed. You've out done yourself on this one.
 
Now when my "mic mutes" get here I'll be in Winger heaven.
