Autocom Replacement Speaker
|
Ed,
I just purchased a set of your new speakers that I am planning to use for replacements for the sub-performing speakers Autocom uses for their headsets. I hope they will work and any suggestions for wiring?
This is sort of a performance test for your system, I will plan on purchasing your headsets for my new 08' BMW K1200LT should they work out.
Also will your headsets work with the Autocom Active-Plus unit??

Ed, Well my friend..I took the dive and started cutting, spliting, slicing and soldering.....hooked up my autocom wires to your new speakers, soldered them together and shrink wrapped the wires. Took the heaset to the bike, san helemt, turned the XM on and what a fantastic improvement!!!!!! VERY VERY happy with your speakers. Good bass, midrange and highs...anticipate them sounding even better when they are mounted correctly inside the helmet. Wife is getting jealou and may want me to put a pair of speakers in her helmet too now. I would buy some complete headsets from you but I guess you do not sell 7-pin setups for Autocoms?? Anychance of making them????? I would like to keep doing business with you if I could!!!
