After using the 2G system in my Shoei 3/4 helmet for over 4 years the Dongle cord is giving me some problems and part of the time I have only one earphone working.. and that is interesting on CB and GPS. Ordered a new out of warranty cord and am re-installing the whole system in a new Arai helmet that I just bought.. have had the system in an Arai before and liked it. I think these systems are the best for the money. Ours are very dependable and last quite a long while and operate even in the rain - which we have been in with totally open faced helmets and with the mics right out in the rain.. both worked just fine - now have them covered with foam and behind a faceshield for a little more protection.. super systems... thanks..
