Topic Shoei MultiTec
Just finished installing the 3G with surface mic into my Arai fullface and now need to do my wife's Shoei. I can get the snap in cheek pads out with no problem but finding a way to insert the flat wire in has me baffled. I will call Ed on Monday if no one can give me some direction. The only way I can see to get the speaker wire to the right ear is to go over the top of the head as the fit around the padding and the shell is way too tight. It also looks like I will have to cut the cloth to get the wires through. Anyone else have one of these and can give me some ideas?
Thanks
Danny Drew

I have just ordered a 2G for my MultiTech and got to looking at my helmet. It looks like it's gonna be a tight fit. Maybe Ed had some install tips for the MultiTech. Did you get your install done satisfactorily ?

I'm in the same boat with a newly purchased Shoei Multitec and a new 2G EdSet with surface mic. The mic and speakers don't appear to be a problem, but mounting and routing the upper cord module surely is baffling. Hoping there is a clean way to do this. I'd hate to give up this helmet.
